Great day, blah night

Today has honestly been a great day.  The little things all matter the most with me.
This morning I got up extra early to study for my test that took place at 9am. sigh.  I think I did good, I don't really care.  It's over with and I'm gladdddd.
After that I came home and was a bum.  Got to text Jon for a bit :)
Then went to my eye dr. appointment. Yay for getting a newer prescription of contacts! Except I had a mad  headache the next hour.
I then found this reallyy cute dress that I'm going to wear here soon when I pick my man up from the airport :D  And I'd LOVE to show a picture of it, but Jon reads this, and it's gotta be a surprise, duh.

After that I went grocery shopping...while hungry....HUGE mistake, I know. But I've got enough food to last me a longggg time. :)
I then came home...to a big box in front of my door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been waiting for that dang package so impatiently. and it finally came! I can't wait to tell Jon.
He's the sweetest. He sent me all the seasons of House and Army Wives..and THIS!:

I'm beyond pumped, I absolutely love it.

I'll look like one badass chick on campus now, duhhh :P hahahha.

And now here I am all blah. I think it's cuz I haven't heard from Jon, and I just wanna talk to him. But you know how that goes..stankin' deployments.

Off to bed I go, early morning and long day of work tmrw..Joyyyy. 

glasses!

Tomorrow I'm going to finally be getting a pair of glasses! Back in 4th grade I got my first pair of glasses. Since then, my eyes were on the decline hill...fast.  They got worse and worse, so I got contacts in 6th grade, and haven't had a pair of new glasses since.  What sucks is I usually just leave my contacts in at night because I hate taking them out and not being able to see a dang thing since I don't have glasses to wear...like currently, I just took them out and my face is about 4 inches from my laptop screen HAHAH

Anyways, I have NO idea what glasses I can pull off, but hopefully they find me something tomorrow...my appointment is in the afternoon...after I do horrible on my Spanish test that I should be studying for....

Can I also complain on how much I DESPISE foreign languages? Yeahhhhh.

Oh and today I figured out that I could totally get my nose pierced if I wanted to considering my new store manager has hers done. hmmm, to be or not to be. I also want a few more tattoos. Sigh I'm addicted.

Speaking of how you only live once....why am I stressing over school again? LOL. the excuses and reasoning I come up with kills me :)

it's really hard to study when..

you don't even HAVE to take the classes you are currently taking.

Yeah. Let me explain.

I'm waiting to start my actual main main nursing classes (I start them in fall), so in the meantime I've been taking all my core classes (all those biologies, sciences, maths, english, etc). Well last quarter, I finished all the ones I need. And in order to continue to get my grant, and not have to start paying back loans, I can't take off more than one quarter. So since I'll take summer off, I have to go this quarter, and so I had to pick random classes to take.

I chose ones that would have some sort of relation to my future career/interests right.

Spanish, Health Care Information, & Pharmacology.

Pharmacology = piece. of. cake.  (probably because I work in the Pharmacy so I've learned all this first hand at work already)

Spanish = annoyance. 9 am in the morning, shoot me. I hate foreign languages. 

Health care info class - thought this would be easyyy. well Think again. It's sooo much work, and currently it's over alll the ancient history of medicine, and alll the different people who invented such and such and the people who developed/ came up with/ whatever ideas / facts. So it sucks. Tomorrow I have a test and a paper due. and I'm going to fail the test. I haven't even started the paper. And I don't want to study at all. Why? because my brain is like "Katie, you don't even have to take these classes, so why stress yourself out and try so hard, who cares".  So this is what I'm currently dealing with.

Also, I'm counting down days, and I'm so excited all the dang time. I miss my man. so freaking much. I loveee him. Today I came home and checked the mail from yesterday..and I had a letter. :D

He is still mine, in my head and heart :) and he knows this..and knows that I'm still his.
Yes yes, we both have things to straighten out...but "love never fails". true love always finds it's way and what is meant to be will be. I love him & he loves me. That is how and why we've stuck together through everything that we have so far (somehow!), and that is why we are both working on things.
Lately, I've been daydreaming A TON about next month & those R&R dates. I'm still the one picking him up from the airport. I can't wait to be in his arms, and I'm sure actually, positive that it will be easier to talk about things and work on them once we are face-to-face again. I CANT FLIPPIN WAIT!.

<3 Anyhoo, I'm at my dad's again this weekend, currently avoiding homework and waiting for Jon to wake up and message meee. This next week is going to be a reallyyy long week, so I'm gonna try my hardest to buckle down tomorrow and get a lot of homework accomplished. I work Monday - Saturday :( Which means I'm not coming back for Easter (hence why I'm here now). It kinda sucks, but it'll be alright..I need the money to cover my doctor bill from the other dday since I had strep :/ But, I'm doing better now...just gotta keep the money flowing in. joyy. Tomorrow night, my dad's gf is having a big bday party so I think that actually might be some fun! Also, I'll probly go visit Jon's parents either tmrw or sunday or both. I love being there in Jon's home, and going into his room. It seems so weird in this town without him. I get so sad and it never fails to hit me on how much I miss him. Almost all of our memories were made here...it's easier when I'm at my place in a totally different place, because every little thing up there doesn't remind me of him like it does down here. I love my boy, and I continue to pray that I can let go of some things and we can both figure everything out and be happy.

life. is crazy.
I swear nothing has even slowed down a bit for me. I've been a constant go-go-go...and lemme tell ya, it SUCKS. I work everyday of the week just about..some days have class on top of it. BOO. & it seems thats all I have to talk about because it's all my life consists of. ugh.

Jon & I are still talking, and doing better.
But I'm trying to focus on me and my feelings/emotions and putting those first for a change.

I'm also starting (in any free-time I kinda have) a bible study for myself. Called "me, myself, & lies"...ever heard of it? I'm very excited to start it..and hopefully I'll get somewhere and get what I desire from it. I want my relationship back with God. That's one thing I've really lost over the past few years, and it's time to put him first before myself and anyone else at that matter. Has anyone done this study? or anyone have suggestions/tips/advice? :)

well..imma go eat & work on homework half the night :(
