Dayy 11

Well it's Thursday and that means classes are done for the week! Yay....except that basically just means homework for me allll weekend. I have so much to do, my teachers this quarter are really gonna slam me with homework alll quarter. But atleast I have something to look forward to after I acomplish this quarter. It will be December, and Jon will get a 4 day pass to come home!! Then I assume he probably won't be here during the actual Christmas holiday, so after he leaves will be the holidays with all the family. After Christmas and New Year's, I will be back to school, and then comes my sister's b-day the 3rd, my other sister's bday 2 days before mine, my birthday, Jon & I's 3-years of dating two days later, and then Jon's birthday a week and a half later. All in the month of January! Yay for days going by fast that month!

I've still been working out daily, not super hard, but enough! And I've still been eating great, I'm proud of myself lol.. Now I just need to teach myself to get back to focusing on homework and stop procrastinating so much.

Skyped with Jon last night! I love that, even miles apart, we still get to do our inside-joke goofy stuff and just be idiots together. I loveee seeing his face, especially when I get to make him smile :)
I'm a cornball, I know.

Oh yeah, so yesterday I got this letter in the mail saying I was accepted to the nursing program (yay), except I was put in the Autumn 2011 class to start...instead of starting in Spring 2011, like I was supposed to.  So basically I was beyond livid, and still am, so I went to my school and asked why I was in that class, when I had applied the minute the application opened. She said they only had 5 spots left in the spring class, and those were filled with the people who applied first...and I had applied at 9:01, not 9:00 exactly. So I got screwed, hardcore, along with a bunch of other people....and now I have to wait an ENTIRE year until I can get in.
(I'm currently doing all my classes that are required with the nursing classes, such as physiology, math, anatomy, lots of science classes. However, I'm going to be finished with ALL of those in the winter...so I'm not going to have any classes to take in the meantime. and I will have to take off next summer quarter, which I didn't want to do...because Jon will still be deployed and I need to keep occupied!)
So needless to say, that really ticks me off to no end, but theres nothing I can do about it...sometimes things in life just don't workout how they are supposed to...especially in my life :P

Gotta go work on some homework. <3

Day 9

First off, I just had to look at the calendar to count what "day number" it is! That must mean I've been pretty good at keeping myself occupied...not busy yet, but occupied. I've been doing a ton of homework, cleaning, organizing, coming up with more ideas for deployment, etc. Now all I need is that job...I REALLY hope they call, fingers crossed everyone!

Had school today, you know how it goes..and as much as I complain about the homework, I'm glad I have a ton to do, I actually feel like I will learn something this quarter. Also, I will get my letter sometime within the next few weeks letting me know that I'm accepted in the Nursing program. eeeck. It seems like things are starting to go smoothly for once [knock on wood].

OH YEA!, Yesterday Jon received his package!!!!!! I was shocked. I sent it Saturday, and he got it Monday...which yes is two days but you can't count Sunday since the mail doesn't go! I was so excited for him to get, and so was he of course. He loved it like I knew he would (even though I knew it wasn't anything too exciting). Also, today he found one of my notes. Before he left, (but after he had packed mostly), I went and put 6 lil notes in different pockets of his uniform. Well he's been wearing his favorite set for the past week (yes washing it in-between, but you know how our soldiers are, they try to make one set last as many days as possible). Well today, he was washing them with pt's and he just so happened to put one of his other uniform pants on, and he found one of the notes::

I received a picture message with this picture from him and the comment "I found this in the pants I put on a while ago lol".....like yes Jon, I know where you found it :) hahah dork, I love that man so freakin much.

That made my day :)
Tomorrow I have lots of homework to do, but sometime during the day I will take a break and go buy Jon some more peppers...I had randomly found this chili peppers at big lots and through them in his package thinking well if he likes them, then awesome, but if they suck, then oh well he can throw them away. Well he loves them, so that was a success! But since they were at big lots, I need to go get them that way I actually have them for his next package, considering biglots usually switches out different foods with others when they run out.

Ok ok, I've been rambling on and on...but as you can tell, life has been going pretty well for only a week down of deployment :D

My weekend

This first weekend without Jon has been overall pretty good (and boring) lol.  Friday I went shopping for Jon's first care-package :) Yes, you heard right, not even gone a week and I'm already sending him a package with lots of goodies! I guess in order to eat chow, it ends up taking TWO hours...which is absolutely rediculous! He has to wait in line for like an hour and a half before he gets his food.  So needless to say, I always gotta take care of him, even from far away..so I STUFFED this box full of food.
Saturday morning I sent out his package and while doing so, I got a phone call from the bank, that I've been trying to get a job at, and I have an interview Monday! That is tomorrow! I am so excited and nervous...I really hope I get this job, would be a major improvement in my income.
Today I've done homework all day, and really not much of anything else. Printed off my resume and laid out my professional (yet cute) looking outfit for tomorrow.  I'll probably eat dinner here later after I work on some more human pathophysiology. sigh. Yes my life is rather boring...however I have plans on Tuesday after class with a friend I haven't seen or talked to much in a longg while. Very glad to have something to get me outta the house and normal daily activities!

That's about all peeps <3

School started..

Yippeee....NOT. On my first day back to school, I am slammed with homework. I figured out that atleast 1 of my 3 classes is easy....UGH.  But I am glad to have some difficult courses that will take up a lot of my free time and keep me busy!
Today is day number 4, and basically another one down! Honestly I have been really good after day 1. My mood is all around pretty high, I don't freak out anymore when I find stuff of Jon's, and I can handle looking at past pictures of him & I together. So if you ask me, I'd say I'm doing pretty dang good for my very first week!
I knew everything would be just fine :)

So Jon is doing pretty good I think too. We've skyped the past few nights, texted during the day some, yada yada. I'm gonna enjoy his months in OK to the very fullest since I know it will be a different picture when he's in Iraq without a cell phone...hopefully with internet and I know that it may not be the best..nor running all the time.
He's been keeping pretty busy, well of course considering the Army is keeping him super busy lol.
And we as a couple have been doing good! I miss him already, but we haven't started saying the I-miss-you's yet which is nice....because in my opinion it would be a long year if we started saying those everyday starting the first week!

Ok and back to me real quick, I will HOPEFULLY get this new job and be starting it SOON. I really do not want to have to go back to my old job and work a few weeks there before I get started with my new job....So I emailed the lady just a lil bit ago "checking in again"...I'm trying to get this process moving! I want to start working!!! (Lol remind me later down the road that I said this when I'm dreading work).  This will be my first weekend home without Jon, but luckily I have lots of homework to keep myself occupied...along with other usual things such as cleaning.

Thanks for reading :)

Day 2

Today has gone 918374982 times better than yesterday. My mood is so happy and great that I couldn't of asked for a better attitude today.  For some reason, I'm just happy and content with how things are.  I know I can't change them, so I might as well make the best of it! And I feel like my positive mood today was rewarded, because Jon skyped me tonight!!!! It was SO good to see his face, and do our lil goofy inside-jokes we always do! I loved that I could make him smile tonight :)

I kept pretty busy today around the house, and I'll end this with that! Gonna go work on my other "projects"...

I love you Jon!

D-day

Technically today was D-day. Yay deployments...not. :)
I kept waking up in the night, so early this morning I texted Jon to see where he was at, because I knew he had to be in formation at 0515, and it was 0800 by this time. He was STILL sitting on the bus waiting to get on the plane. But he made it to OK a few hours later where he will be for a few months till he goes to Iraq.
So I can't complain much, since he's still stateside for awhile!
So far, he doesnt really enjoy it there, lol. But ahwell, it'll be okay

Anyways, today I've kept pretty busy (the smart thing to do I hear). I went to my mom's house after I woke up and saw her, my little brothers, and my two year old sister (who can brighten anyone's day). I played with my sister for a few hours, then came up to my house. I've unpacked some but not a whole lot...and then I went and bought my school books since I go back to school Thursday. I'm pretty excited to get back to school and have my head in the books for the next 3 months. Now I just need to get back to work! The problem with that, is that I do not want to go back to my old job (because I hate it lol), and I'm trying to get this job at a bank which pays very well!!! That's on my list for tomorrow...to call the bank manager again!

Oh and today, I started to cry once for about 2 mins, when I pulled Jon's hoodie and few t-shirts out of my car and I caught a big whiff of "him"..his scent just sent instant tears down my face! Call me a baby but yeah haha.  But then I came inside and put my new pillowcase on one of my pillows....Jon's unit did this thing called "operation pillowcase" and a few months ago they took the soldier's pics and made a pillowcase for each soldier's dependants (or in the case gf, since Jon has no dependents yet).  So that made me smile big time, I get to "sleep with him" every night he's away :)
All-in-all, I'd say I've done pretty good for day #1!

Goodbye Day

Today was "goodbye day" as I call it.  I was thinking about it, and technically today wasn't D-day, because he deploys early tomorrow. Jon just had to be up there tonight (3 hours from home), so goodbyes were today.
All-in-all, not too bad.

Woke up this morning to find out that we were leaving earlier than expected. So we all (Jon's parents, Jon, and I) got dressed and ready.  Jon went and said bye to a few people, we all ate, got packed up, and headed out the door for our 3 hour drive.  The drive wasn't bad, just quiet (all the windows were down, we couldnt really talk anyways lol). I enjoyed soaking up everything I could about Jon and I together....I wanted to remember how I felt with him beside me and holding his hand...I wanted to remember every little thing about him. So we got to this hotel that Jon reserved for him...and it was kinda scary, but we checked him in...then went to eat.  Ate food and as we were leaving the restuarant to go back to the hotel to drop him off, I knew that the goodbye was coming up in the next few minutes, and I started tearing up. I looked at Jon and just couldn't stop the tears as I was smiling. I did not want to start crying!!! But he was making me laugh by just the look on his face..and then he was like "not good kt, dat is badd" so I was laughing a lot, and it was nice.
So went to the hotel, and he hugged his parents and said his byes to them, then came to hug me :/
I will never forget that moment. Just holding him and never wanting to let go. Not knowing what to say as the tears are coming.  Concentrating on his feel, how he put his face in my neck.  Finally he said "see ya later" and I told him that I'd be waiting. then we said our i-love-you's :) and kissed goodbye.
I will also never forget as we drove away, him standing inside that clear glass door waving goodbye.
I love that boy with all of my heart.

Anyways, after a few mins of in the car, and after catching my breath from crying, I calmed down.  I know everything will be okay. And I know I can't feel sorry for myself..and that worrying will just make things worse. It does all just suck, but it will workout.
I fell asleep in the car for most of the way home.. when we got back to Jon's, his mom made me take a bunch of food (since I will be going back to my house tomorrow, an hour and a half away...then back to school thursday), and then I took Jon's room in..and raided his closet :)
Came to my dad's house...tried sleeping, but that just is not happening right now...hopefully here shortly.
And those are my details of my goodbye day..
Sigh.
